Be Prepared for Fall & Winter Weather Disruptions
When weather, road, or school conditions result in a schedule change, we inform families through phone call, text message, email, social media, and our district website.

Please review your Skyward information and report any mistakes to your child's school and make sure a cell phone number is listed in the second phone number line.

Staff and families do not need to opt-in or register in ParentSquare to receive phone call, email, and text notifications. If schools are operating on a normal schedule, no notifications will be issued.

Illness Prevention
In order to keep our school healthy, please keep in mind the school’s policy regarding illness. Please make sure that to keep your child home if they are ill. If they have a fever, they cannot return to school until they have had 24 hours fever free without any fever reducing medication.

Our nurses recommend that if students are coughing or sneezing, that they wear a mask and wash hands regularly with soap and water. Please reach out to the school nurse if you have any questions about the health of your child.

Songs from Across the World Showcased at Horizons Concert
OHHS choirs joined together to sing songs from all across the world on Thursday, October 17. Some students performed special songs from their own cultures. One of the performances came from brothers Ka’Imi and Kepano Nero, which included them singing a Hawaiian song passed down from their ancestors. “It's a song about us natives standing proud and strong together, looking towards our ancestors for guidance to the future,” said Ka’Imi Nero ‘25.

Other performances involved soloists and our special guests, the Shifty Sailors. Singers and audience members swayed the day away to the shanties they sang. Choir letters were also presented to Clayton Valentine ‘25 and Ka’Imi Nero ‘25 for their devotion and hard work for the choir.
